It's a bitterly cold in the Cotswolds, but the early morning sun is already starting to melt the ice on the pond - much to the delight of the resident Mallard population. The reeds split the picture in half breaking the normal photographic "rules" but it still "works" as the line of ducks pulls the eye down almost immediately.
