Lamu is full of donkeys, only one car on the island (the only road runs along the front), and 10,000 donkeys. Needless to say they're everywhere and some are friendly, some definitely are not... This one hung-out at night in the square next to my house and would blast "hee-haw" into the still night air, every time another donkey stumbled into view. I love the background texture and the way his muzzle has the same dappled feel.
